About Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Online
The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), a private deemed-to-be university, was founded in 1985 in Chennai, India. In 2008, HITS received its deemed-to-be university status under Section 3 of the UGC Act. HITS offers multiple disciplines of education from engineering to management, as well as science, arts, and more.
Through its Center for Open and Digital Education (CODE), HITS enables the learning of higher education through the Online (OL) and Open Distance Learning (ODL) methods of education. | Online MCA | BCA, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent degree. Graduates from B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level also apply, with 50% marks required (45% for reserved categories). |
| Online MA | Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in English, or another UG degree with English as a subject, with a minimum of 50% marks. |
